Made myself a non core journal skin!

I DID IT
I SPENT 3 DAYS ON THIS NON CORE JOURNAL CODE AND IM SO HAPPY WITH IT AH
For anyone curious as to how i gave myself a journal skin without core, here is the tutorial i followed:

SO ok hello
After thinking about it for a few months, im just really over being a twitter artist.
I miss being able to easily look through my friends galleries
I miss being actually NOTIFIED when my friends post

So this is my official hello im back post
I tried to come back a little while ago but it really didnt stick?
But i really feel like that was just because of how i was using DA
I was trying to jump back in like i was 14 again and never left

But yeah
Its nice to be back
I missed being able to surround myself with so much art!

Over the past few months ive been slowly getting tired of being an artist on twitter. I miss being able to go through my friends galleries and NOT MISS POSTS
so im coming back, i may need to do some cleaning up, might see if i can change my @ to closer match my twitter brand i kinda made for myself
But its so refreshing to be back

the site got an amazing upgrade it looks so sleek 10/10
Im excited to be back, and im actually curious if any of my old DA pals are still around,
might have to do some digging i know its been a hot minute since i left the first time
(not rlly counting the second time i came back and i wasnt even rlly "back" i just used this as a place to link my speedpaints lol)

Shadow cats

I came back to DA bc I missed the environment and I came back to a ton of notes asking for my shadowcats
im not insulted in any way but I DO want to put this out there
its been YEARS I simply cannot remember what SCs I own
i know for a fact that I own Spike Strip and Slinkey
but aside from that I’m clueless
I won’t deny that I DO NOT agree with how the SC admins handled this entire situation, the whole “take away people’s shadow cats if they don’t step up and remind us they own them” is downright shitty and they straight up cant do that to people ESPECIALLY if someone paid for their SC (they buy it they own it, y’all u can’t just take away an item someone paid for)
and second, if they wanna step away from the species bc it’s too overwhelming that’s FINE but you can’t just close up show and be like I don’t want this thing anymore but there are still very vague rules I want y’all to follow while I abandon this thing I don’t like anymore
now, as a grown ass adult, who has been working freelance for years I can confirm that that whole thing was wrong
Now on that that rant is over
i will give my 2 SCs away
bc I don’t use them and there are clearly ppl who miss them and want one
so I’ll be replying to notes in order of first come first serve
and my final thought
